Admission Criteria

  • Age Limit: The candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
  • Educational Qualification: The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Science (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) from CHSE, Odisha or any other board or council or University equivalent thereof.
  • Open Schooling: The candidates passed 10+2 examination in Science (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) conducted by National Institute of Open School (NIOS) are also eligible to apply.
  • Marks Requirement: The candidates must have passed in the subject of PCB & English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks taken together in PCB at the qualifying examination i.e. (10+2). In case of candidates belonging to SC/ST, the marks obtained in PCB taken together in the qualifying Examination shall be 40%. English is a compulsory subject in 10+2 for being eligible for admission to B.Sc. Nursing course.
  • Medical Fitness: Candidate shall be medically fit for the course.
  • Gender Eligibility: Both female/male candidates are eligible to apply.

Admission Procedure

Candidates seeking admission into the GNM and B.Sc. Nursing programmes at Guruji College of Nursing must submit the prescribed application form duly filled along with the required documents within the stipulated time.

Documents Required for Admission:

Certificate and Mark Sheet of the qualifying examination (+2 or equivalent).
Original H.S.C./10th Mark Sheet and Certificate.
Original +2/12th Mark Sheet and Certificate.
Transfer Certificate (TC) / School Leaving Certificate and Migration Certificate (Original).
Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority (for reserved category candidates).
Character/Conduct Certificate from the last attended institution.
Aadhaar Card and any valid Government Photo Identity Proof.
Certificate of Change of Name, if applicable, supported by documentary evidence such as Government Gazette.
Gap Certificate, if there is any study gap after qualification.
Recent passport-size photographs as prescribed by the institution.
